Richard Perry, Child’s attorney in CINA cases, will provide an overview of CINA law. We will then explore pitfalls in CINA cases and areas where the reality of a case differs from the ideal implied by the law, and discuss the ways that a CASA can help in those situations. We will highlight how a dedicated CASA can make a concrete difference in a child’s life and how the CASA is uniquely positioned to help the child in certain situations.
A light dinner will be served.
