CASA Information Session: Learn How You Can Make a Difference

Volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, is an opportunity for individuals to make a difference in the life of a child in foster care. CASAs not only advocate on behalf of a child’s best interest in court hearings, they are also mentors who encourage and provide guidance to youth as they transition out of foster care.

If you would like to learn more about the role of CASA volunteers, CASA Prince George’s County, and how you can become a CASA Champion, join us at the next Volunteer Information Session on September 17, 2018, 6:00 pm. The Information Session will be held at the Hyattsville Administrative Building, 4310 Gallatin Street, Hyattsville, MD 20781.

The next Volunteer Pre-Service Training is scheduled for October 18-November 12, 2018. Interested persons should plan to attend the Volunteer Information Session and apply online before October 1, 2018.
